Any veteran who has been declared 70% (or more) disabled by the Veterans Administration and has received financial aid from the Veterans Administration toward the purchase or lease of a motor vehicle. To personalize these plates submit an application along with $25.00 to the county clerk by September 1st of the year preceding the registration year. |

| Remarks: If the vehicle has a "regular" registration plate, that plate must be turned in to the County Clerk. Credit will be given for any months remaining on the "regular" registration. The personalized plate cannot conflict with the state number/letter system nor be offensive to good taste and decency. The customer has the option of ordering a "new" plate each year or renewing with a decal only. $5.00 of the initial fee goes to the veteran's trust fund and at renewal time, the individual has the option of donating a minimum of $5.00 to the fund. Maximum number of characters for this plate is four (4). |
